Surgery day

Tomorrow is the big day. Getting very nervous. I tried to wear myself out today by deep cleaning my house so I would sleep tonight but I still don't think it's happening.

Made it home about 3 hours ago. Stomach is pretty sore after long ride home. Finding it difficult to sip anything due to stomach spasms or cramps with every sip. I tried water, juice, cream soup, nectar protein drinks. It is much better today than yesterday. You will want to be up and walking as soon as you can after. They wouldn't let me stand for a while because I was dizzy and the gas pains were so bad I was in tears rocking on the side of the. Take the pain meds whenever you can and keep the hallways hot!

Chap stick, deodorant, tooth brush and paste, dry shampoo, comb and change of clothes to wear home. I just stayed in gown while there because everyone wants to see your belly. I just put some undies underneath.

Sadly, I wasn't able to use my gas x strips or any dry mouth spray. The hospital had a mouth rise that was so wonderful and I would suggest to ask for that pre op. Also Chapstick was wonderful.

Any drug store.. It's for dry mouth. Works great also of your meds give you dry mouth and you swallow nothing just gives you moistness.
