  1. I would think it would be very painful or make you very sick
  2. Once you get home you will feel better. For the first two days every sip I took made my stomach spasm. It does get better. by day 3 or 4 I was drinking all my fluids and protein easily.
  3. That did not include 300 for nutritionist and physical fitness coach and 130 for pre op diet. I am not sure about pre op testing like ekg and egd but yes that's doc, hospital, and anesthesiologist. I was insurance paid but they are very upFront about what self pay cost Did this include EVERYTHING. Hospital, anesthesiologist? Did you have to prepay 100% before the surgery?
  4. That's is what worried me the most and it was absolutely no big deal.
  5. I have to do liquids one week, purée one week, soft one week and then normal. I am several days into the purée week and I think a week may have been too fast to move up or it needs to be more graduated. I feel so full for a very long time after i eat anything with even a little thicker consistency like adding pb2 to my protein shake or cream soup that has been strained.
  6. My office required I pay a program fee to see Nut and Physical fitness person as much as I want or need for 6 months after
  7. Chap stick, deodorant, tooth brush and paste, dry shampoo, comb and change of clothes to wear home. I just stayed in gown while there because everyone wants to see your belly. I just put some undies underneath.
  8. Made it home about 3 hours ago. Stomach is pretty sore after long ride home. Finding it difficult to sip anything due to stomach spasms or cramps with every sip. I tried water, juice, cream soup, nectar protein drinks. It is much better today than yesterday. You will want to be up and walking as soon as you can after. They wouldn't let me stand for a while because I was dizzy and the gas pains were so bad I was in tears rocking on the side of the. Take the pain meds whenever you can and keep the hallways hot!
  9. The isopure drinks and syntax nectar are both like a regular drink and may be more tolerable
  10. Had mine yesterday. 2/19. And every sip hurts me as well
  11. Tomorrow is the big day. Getting very nervous. I tried to wear myself out today by deep cleaning my house so I would sleep tonight but I still don't think it's happening.
  12. I used rogaine for a while and had good results but as soon as I stopped it fell out again. I have not yet been sleeved, surgery is the 19th but since I already have thinning hair on top I was researching what others have said.
  13. What kinds of fluids and protein supplement do they provide during your hospital stay? Do I need to bring the one I like with me?
  14. The wait was the worst part for me after that six month long diet and then appointments for this and that. I called a week and a half after my Drs office was suppose to file for approval and they hadn't yet. I was so annoyed. I bugged after that with repeated calls.
  15. I have started my pre op diet for surgery in February 19th. I lost several pounds on days one and two and the last two, I haven't went anywhere. My liver shrinking diet is meal replacement bars, shakes, soups provided by doc, I All green veggies I want and one serving of lean meat if wanted. If I leave out the meat it's about 750 cal a day if I put it in it can go up a few hundred. I am afraid I am going to be a slow loser. I am hoping my body is just like hold on a minute, where is my food!
  16. I am scheduled for feb 19th and would like to know as well.
  17. Hi guys. This is my first post but I have following on here for months. I got the news yesterday that I was approved and date was set for Feb 19th. I start the 14 day pre op diet today!
