Anyone drink Shakeology?

This is my favorite shake. I'm drinking it pre surgery and plan to post.

*following* I just looked up Shakeology stats this morning -- how timely!

Following......My sister in law sells it. But I don't want to try it unless it has an ideal protein to carb ratio for post gastric sleeve.

Most nutritionist want your shakes to be under 5g of sugar. Even subtracting the Fiber, 11 carbs per shake are way too many. These might be alright for someone in maintenance, but not for losing.

????...ok...

I don't think your Bariatric Program would approve of the nutrient/carb/sugar values in Shakeology.

How are you doing with it during pre-surgery diet, are you losing weight with it?

Make sure you start reading labels very carefully. Your program should also provide you guidance on what to look for in a good Protein supplement or Meal Replacement. I look for a high protein to carb ratio.

Premier Protein, GNC Lean Shake 25, and Syntrax nectar are my favorite shakes.
