  2. Thank you for this response. I am post op 5 days and doc has me on Clear Liquids no Protein till Saturday. I do take an antacid each day but I was feeling hungry all day while drinking 60 oz of liquid. Jello seemed to help to make me feel full as well as clear hot broth but it doesn't seem to last long. I am so ready for a protein shake! I am walking for 30 min a day as well and do feel weak at times. I am dreaming of refried beans so I am really hoping they fill me up in two bites!

  15. I'm surprisingly relaxed. I am going through Mexico Bariatric Center. The Hyatt hotel is very nice. Everyone is very friendly. The coordinator Jesus, is very friendly, prompt, speaks very proper English. I have not encountered any type of language barrier. I feel safe, there are wonderful restaurants (which of course I have not eaten from) There is a grocery store next to the hotel in case you need something. Had lab work and EKG today at Mi Doctor Hospital. Carla is very nice, speaks English perfectly, and accompanied me during my lab work. Having surgery in TJ Tomm morning. I've been on liquids for three days. Ready to no be hungry. Lol

  21. Very inspiring! Biggest fear is I will fail... Again.. Three years post op, makes me know I can do it as well! Thank you! I'm afraid to tell anyone, due to the fact many have scrutinized my failures and I just can't do it again. I have surgery day after tomm and am really afraid but excited. I want it all to go well. Congratulations again!!

  25. Thank you, I will. How do you friend someone on this site?
  26. Starting clear liquids today. Woke up feeling nervous. Don't think I can eat anything anyway. It is definitely feeling real now. Wow, didn't think I would be this scared. I've had surgery before. I hope I'm not nauseous upon waking. That is the worst part. Praying for the surgeon for steady hands. No leaks and a good recovery. Original date was for the 12th. Had to reschedule surgery due to bronchitis and fever. I think I might vlog my experience. Don't know yet.
