Okay, I'm traveling for business this week and wondering what I'm going to do when I have dinner with clients.

It was hard last week, but I had a guy next to me for three days that are my food. I kinda grazed my fork over soft stuff and tasted here and there. Just act uninterested in food. Also, take shakes and packages tuna for your hotel room.

You can do it!

It's our 4 week anniversary!!

Hard to believe 4 weeks ago I was in so much pain with the surgery! We are here now, pain free and I am 22.4 pounds lighter than the day of surgery. That's on average 5 pounds + per week. I will take it! How is the rest of the 2/9 team??

Hey guys! I can't believe it's been a month already! I weighed in today and I am 26 pounds down! I can't believe it! I'm 5'5, and my preop weight was 244.5 and today I'm 216.6. I was not expecting such a loss, so I'm thrilled. Starting a regular diet today, so that's a plus, too. [emoji1]

Hi 2/9ers Happy Monday I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend.

MXKitty that cake and ice cream looks great, how did you enjoy the Protein mug cake?

Positive - congrats on successfully making it through your work trip. It's great that you were able to stick to your plan with all of the temptations that were in front of you. I'm glad that you're excited about your weigh in, I wasn't so happy about mine. I haven't touched a scale in a week and I'm down a whole 3 pounds. I'm glad the scale is moving but I expected more. A friend suggested doing a once per month weigh in so that I don't get so discouraged but I don't think I can do that.

So how's everyone's weight loss and has anyone incorporated exercise that is more than walking? What food stage is everyone on?

I am back to jogging...i ran 3.72 miles today. It was hard but im glad to be back to my fitness routine. I am trying not to weigh myself til the day before my 6week follow up on the 23rd. My coworkwrs and friends say I've lost alot. I cleared my closet of my 1x-4x clothes. I am fitting in my l/xl....excited!!!

That's awesome! I'm so happy for you! Keep it going!!

Iamsafe - I'm trying to get back to running also, congrats on 3.72 miles that's awesome. I think I would die if I waited 6 weeks to weigh in lol - you are doing amazing, you went from a 4x to a l/Xl in 4 weeks, wow. My clothes are fitting lose but nothing that major

Positive- an 8 is a good goal. I really don't have a clothing size, but 10 sounds good [emoji16] I'm shooting for 175 right now

Congrats on your weight loss Positive and losinglily [emoji322][emoji322][emoji322] I'm glad that everyone is losing and doing well. Have either of you set a goal weight or are you just winging it?

I'd be happy in a size 10-12. I just want to be healthy not necessarily skinny so that's all I'm shooting for as of now :)

2/9 Team, I can't drink the Protein Shakes anymore. I gag when I try and get really sick. Called my doctor and the nurse asked me to lay off and have the following daily:

2 teaspoons of Peanut Butter

Grilled Salmon

Quest Protein Bar AM and PM

All the Water I can get down with MiraLAX to keep everything flowing. I'll let you know how I feel after a few days on this.

Thinking of those drinks...

Positive- I've been trying to avoid protein shakes and get my protein from the foods that I'm allowed. Sorry they are giving you issues. A protein bar sounds great but I don't think I'm allowed yet [emoji57] hopefully all goes down well

I'm getting all my protein from regular food now for the most part but my plumbing hasn't been as traumatized as everyone else. I do treat myself to the protein ice cream at night if I haven't gotten 80g but I haven't "indulged" so to speak in two days.

Have you tried Isopure zero? It comes in a bunch of flavors and is clear so not as challenging yo choke down. A 20oz bottle has 40g protein.

I hope you feel better fast fast fast!!

(Hugggggggggs)

Positive - I totally understand. I was on a liquid diet for 4 weeks after surgery so I JUST started my purée stage 2 days ago. My last week of pure liquid I gagged very time I drank Protein. I was doing a cold chocolate shake. I moved to do a hot protein which really helped. Now I am doing lemon tea and out a splash of mango juice in it (not sure if I'm supposed to but it helps me get my protein down) and use ice to make it as cold as possible. I'm actually enjoying this kind of protein! My doc expects that I drink 3 Proteins a day for the rest of my life so I will definitely have to change up my protein quite frequently I'm sure. My doc said it is super normal to start HATING protein since that's all we've been drinking. What stage of food are you on?
