Unless you have other issues not related to thw sleeve pregnancy post op is completely safe.

I'm surprised your surgeon didnt go over this with you. It is recommended to wait about 18 months post op. My surgeon discusses this with me since as you loose weight it become easier to get pregnant. It was recommended to be on some kind of birth control since a pregnancy durring the weight loss phase could be dangerous

    I already have an appointment 18 months after my surgery to get my IUD removed. Lol. the whole reason I even started looking in to the surgery was because my Reproductive Specialist suggested it after 5 years of losses and tests and diets and all kinds of failure. One requirement for me to have surgery was ether a DEPO shot or an IUD.
