Banded July 17,2007

Hi everyone,

I was banded almost 2 weeks ago and am doing great. This website is just priceless in helping me get prepared! I just joined today as a member, but have been reading threads and posts for quite some time. I've lost 26 pounds since starting my liquid diet, and hope to have continued success. I wish everyone on this site all the success we all deserve!

    Christy, Welcome to LBT and congratulations on your weight loss so far.

    Just curious as to what Dr you went to for your band? It sounds like you are doing well after your surgery. Best Wishes for continued weight loss and good health.

    Thanks for the welcome and congratulations! My doctor was Glenn Burleson, he was a Bariatric surgeon in Minnesota before coming to Florida, and actually his first LapBand surgery was on one of my coworkers in October of last year and she is doing fantastic! She has lost 85 pounds since then and I was inspired to do it when I saw how well it worked for her!

    I have my first followup with him tomorrow. Wish me luck!!
