Almost There

Growing up, I was never overweight. I was actually very fit and athletic. When I had kids, everything changed. No matter how much I worked out or dieted, I couldn't loose weight. I tried everything. All the latest diets, prescriptions, workout equipment, tests, and nothing worked. At first I didn't want to do the surgery. After a lot of research and talking to my husband , I decided to do a consultation. It was great information but I still wasn't sure but figured I could continue with the process and can change my mind if I wanted to. The truth of the matter is, I've been scared as I think everyone is at some point in this process. But after finding this site I feel a lot better about my choice to do this and I have my last appointment before being scheduled for surgery on 1/25. Excitement still hasn't hit me, but I think once I get passed the surgery I will start to be excited. Thank you all for sharing your stories. It truly helps us newbies.

No, that was my last doctors appointment. Waiting on the insurance approval still. How did yours go? How are you feeling?
