Low carb Purees or Thick liquids

Hi everyone,

I'm moving on to the thick liquid and purée stage. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions for low carb options.

I've been having a Premier Protein shake for Breakfast and lunch which are low carb, but the Soups I've purchased are all really high carbs.

I liked the idea of Soup because it feels like a "normal meal", not just a snack like yogurt, pudding, etc.

I realize I'm eating super low calories so carbs shouldn't necessarily be a huge concern but I know in the past I've been successful at losing the weight when I'm in ketosis, so would like to keep my carbs low for the next few weeks. Hoping it helps prevent me plateauing too early.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much!

I eat a lot of regular chili and white chicken chili. I just put it in a food process for a couple secs to break it down some and then freeze them in single serve sizes.

At this stage, I wouldn't worry overmuch about the carbs. Remember how little you are getting in in a day. Far, far less than you used to.

Cottage cheese and Greek yogurt are staples for me.

Do you mix something with it? I'm not really a big fan of cottage cheese, so I am looking for ideas on how to eat it. Also do you eat the skim variety?

I love cottage cheese. I like it with freshly ground black pepper and fresh tomato or even plain.

Here is a thread with lots of cottage cheese ideas: http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/356614-What-can-I-do-with%2E%2E%2Ecottage-cheese%3F

Personally, I eat the regular 4% but the 2% is pretty good, too.
