I was sleeved on the 29th so I am only 4 days out. I have not had an easy time. I also had my right ovary taken out so that may explain why I have had some issues. I just haven't been able to drink enough. The first three days the back pain was horrible. Surgeon said it was from the air in the abdomen. Nothing really to do but walk to release it. I walked as much as possible. In those three days I got done about 16oz of Water, 8 oz of Protein shake and half a Popsicle. I haven’t been sleeping much, 2 hour intervals. I get up and walk for 10 - 15 min, take a few sips of water and back to bed. Last night when I got up I wasn’t feeling much pain and able to drink a little more. Throughout the night I was able to drink 8 oz of water. I thought I was turning a corner. I made a Protein Shake and started to drink that this morning. Took me about 40 min to do 4 oz and I have been nauseous ever since. I am still sipping water, but still haven’t gotten more 4 oz in. Thankfully my doctor gave me a script for anti nausea medicine that I just sent my son to fill. Hopefully it will help. I also have two other protein powders to try. Anyone else having same issue? What have you done to still get the protein in each day?
