January Surgery Dates!

Who's getting their surgery in January? I just got my insurance approval today, and I meet with my surgeon Wednesday the 16th of Dec. The scheduler said that I will most likely get my surgery on the 5th of january because he only has one scheduled on the 5th, and he is out of the office until my appointment! I am beyond excited!

Im 5 days out, I'm still in some pain but not as much if I over do walking the pain gets worse, getting a lot of my water in which is good. My surgery went well but they said my organs were very close to each other, they almost had to cut me all the way open! Thank god they managed!

6 Days post-op now. Feeling better each day. Don't think I've gotten enough walking in and getting protein in is crazy too! But feelings of nausea are easing up slowly, pain is easing have slightly more mobility than I did before! The most important thing is to try and not get to the point of hunger as then I get cranky and fall in love with the smells of food! Yesterday I made sure I eat before severe hunger struck and felt a lot more at ease. Wounds have officially begun itching which is crazy as I've officially come to terms that I can visibly see staples in my stomach. And the noises your stomach makes are legendary! I'm sure this morning I could actually see the way everything was being digested...

It's surgery day for me! I'm ready to be on the losers bench!

Protein is a struggle a bit but trying my best.

Hi everyone, I requested to join the facebook group. My name is Johnna Jablonski if an admin would like to approve. Thanks! Surgery date 1/26/16

January is almost coming to a close! All post op members how are you feeling? And all pre-op members get ready to join the losers bench!

2nd day post op. Doing great! They have me on Hycet and they will send me home with some. So grateful since I do not do well with pain. I get to start pureed protein today. Fingers crossed it goes well!
