new to this

i had my surgery on august 31 2015.... i lost a total of 80 lbs so far. I've had someone tell i need to be in a support group but I'm not really a social butterfly. i thought ill give this app a try just to kind of get my feet wet.

I haven't even had my surgery yet, but this Website is great! I have learned so much in my prep, and looking forward to great conversations after my surgery too. WELCOME!

Welcome! This is a great place for information and inspiration. May I ask if there is a particular reason someone suggested you seek a support group?

@@chonti13 Welcome, congratulations on the loss to date, that is fantastic...if you ever wonder if this is worth it, I always read:

and then I suggest poking around to see who has posted on a subject before starting a new thread ;-) Not that I'm bitter.
