3 days post op with 100.5 fever

Had surgery on Monday. Released today. I feel horrible and my temp just keeps climbing. When should I be alarmed?

Call surgeon. Most hospitals/surgeons say call at 101 degrees. Close enough! Fever is a sign your body is fighting something - better to go find out what.

Definitely call your surgeon. That was my biggest sign to go in and they did blood work to find out my white blood cells were very high and I ended up having a leak.
