Straws?

Why aren't we suppose to use them again? I did today and then realized i want suppose to. Bummer too cuz i got way more liquids in using one. I'm 9 days post op

It puts air back into your stomach and you're trying to get the air they pumped into your belly during surgery out and it only comes out in two ways. Your mouth or your ass.

I started using straws after about a month. I have had zero issues with them, but everyone is different.

Straws, chewing gum, and sodas - all result in extra air in the tummy. It can be uncomfortable and some say can stretch the tummy.

I've used straws a few times, before remembering that I wasn't supposed to. I didn't feel any discomfort.

My doctor said straws can be used after 6 months or 6 weeks for me(my manual is at my house). I haven't tried them yet.
