Do you have a favorite blog that you follow for someone who has gone through the sleeve surgery? I have found a couple but they are not active any more. I would like to find some who are active but if you have an awesome one i would love to see it.

I don't know if it qualifies as "awesome" but you are welcome to check mine out. It's linked in my signature. I started it in January 2013 while I was pre-op & still update it pretty regularly now at 2 years post op. In fact I was just sitting here working on a new post for tomorrow :-)

I enjoyed following video blogs on YouTube when I was pre-op, and still do. I started my own channel when I started my pre-op diet. It's been fun recording my journey. There are quite a few active VSG video bloggers in all stages of this journey.

Here is my channel, If you are interested:

I'd love some blogs to read too. Seeing the ones that have made it to goal are great, but I'd love someone at the beginning of their journey to follow. I have a blog ready with a couple of posts, but as I'm still int he planning stage it won't have actual surgery stuff on it until next year.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
