My story

My name is Peggy and was sleeved 8-19-2015.I have been over 400 twice in my life. This time I began at 379 @ the age of 57.Ten years ago I lost 175 lbs in a support group to gain again to 379 .Age and loads of medical issues caught up with me.I had to do this or have no quality of life. I feel grateful because I don't have that nagging feeling of being hungry 24/7.

Welcome! I was over 400 when I was sleeved.

Hi Peggy. I was 54 years old and 356 when I was sleeved 2-25-15. I am 7 1/2 months out and have lost 106 pounds so far! BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE (other than becoming a nurse)!! I obviously still have a ways to go but I feel great and realize this is a lifetime journey not a race! So glad you made the decision as well!! ????
