So what I'm struggling the most is taking crushed pills especially the pills to prevent gold stones ugh tried putting the powder in Soup and a Protein shake and I just really can't even the liquid for of pepcid. I think that's what it is. How did you guys get through it crushing pills?

You should be able to tolerate swallowing them whole before too long. They wanted me to swallow them whole in the hospital, but couldn't get them down that soon. Within a week or so post op, I had no trouble swallowing them. I hated crushing them! Ewwww.... BUT, I was told it's ok to have a spoonful of applesauce just to get the crushed pill down, even on the liquid diet (my liquid diet ended the day I left the hospital though).

wow years ago, I worked at a compound pharmacy as pharmacy manager,yet it never came to mind!!! Duh!!
