Im having my surgery October 20th.....but right now i have stuffy nose due to my allergies if im not better by then will they postpone???.....i really hope not i waited a long time for this

As long as u dnt have a fever of 100.4 and up...i dnt think its an issue...to be on safer side i would ask for some antibiotics just to clear it up before ur surg. Good Luck!!!

Rather than ask for antibiotics (which are way overprescribed) why not just ask your surgeon what they suggest?

Ask your doctor if it's okay to take zyrtec-d! I got sick before I started the liquid diet and it was a killer but they said zyrtec-d was okay to take just no Advil (ibuprofen)

@innersurfergirl She will need antibiotics anyhow to prevent infection after surgery so it wont hurt to start the doses before surgery...but i would check with my surgeon as well. Good Luck to you. @@lisamarie0817
