You have a date already without getting approval?

Yes, they let you set a surgery date once you've completed all the requirements. knowing that it takes the insurance 2 to 3 weeks to make a decision.

I actually feel really good except for getting tired a little quicker, I'm guessing from surgery. I'm 9 days out and surprised how quickly I'm recovering. No nausea, drinking my shakes and fluids and looking forward to pureed foods!

That's great. I recovered well but dealt with fatigue after the first week. I couldn't walk longer than 10 mins but it increased gradually.

Good to know atontor, thank you. Fatigue is the word I was looking for lol. I work around my apartment for about 10 min and have to rest. Wtg on your success you are an inspiration!

Hi, I was wondering if any of the downstate NYers were using Dr. Marina Kurian as their surgeon. She is my surgeon and I have been very happy with her so far. That said, she hasn't carved me open yet :-)

I'm having a consult with DR. Kurian... I have an appointment with NYU, Dr. fielding but I'm probably going to cancel that for two reasons... Don't like he has had malpractice suits and they make you pay $250 to meet the nutritionist at the first visit... It's not the $250 but why am I paying when I haven't decided I'll be using him as a surgeon.
