Welcome and let us know if we can be of any help. Try to get about a half hour per day of walking. It will help the recovery process go smoother. Also if you are drinking caffeine, cut that out now

Hi all. Looking for a support forum and ended up here.
I've decided to have gastric bypass and know support is key in any major change in life.
A bit about me: I'm 30 years old and a nurse in Chicago. Have a loving husband and a beautiful 4 yr old daughter. They are the reason I'm going through with the surgery- I want to be healthy and be around.
No surgery date set yet. About to start the required 90 days of multidisciplinary care set by my insurance (Aetna) before they'll pre-cert me. Hoping for a February date. I'm blessed to work for a hospital with a great program and great insurance benefits to allow this to happen. Just need to keep my job
