Hi! We share a surgery day!!

I am a very private person. I am a little concerned about the private Facebook group. I understand that as long as the group is marked secret it stays private, but at any point the creator could mark it public, in error or whatever. Also, when the group is closed it becomes public as well. What is the big push to move off of this forum to have the same conversations? I am surprised so many have moved over to Facebook, and I feel like I am missing a piece of this puzzle. Is the thought that since it's a group, when someone posts it'll show up in your news feed? I'm just confused...

11/17/15 is my date! Here is a little about me. I am 35 and 5'8, I am a mother of two toddlers and two teenage step kids. I have had back surgery and the added weight is making my back worse. I really don't want to have to go through back surgery again. My doctor thinks this will help with my back and my plantar fasciitis in my feet. I just want to be a healthy weight and be able to run with my kids!

I will not ever be changing the group to private. Anything you post in the group will only be seen by ppl in the group. That is why you have to send me a friend request to be added. It only allows me too add friends because it is a secret group. I am a very private person as well and don't plan on telling many ppl that I'm having vsg. I'm nov 6th

It finally feels like its going to happen when u get close to ur date and start pre op diet, congrats
