Day after surgery!

  • Popular Post

I was discharged yesterday and everything went swell! Got my sleeve and the doctor fixed a hernia that I had and he removed my gallbladder which I am very thankful that he did because apparently I had a couple big gallstones. I'm healing just fine and all but I'm hurting so much on my left side. I've been walking here and there and icing it when I lay down which helps a lot. I'm so excited to pass this phase and ready for phase 2. Just wish this pain would stop already!! >_

Thank you for this post grabbing an ice pack now and then I'll try a heating pad 6 days out feel like death

I know exactly how you feel I'm the first week marker from my surgery and had a hernia repaired. The pain in my left shoulder is unbelievable. I've iced and heated but nothing has helped. It's the nerves that are aggravated causing the pain. I hope it subsides soon.

I hope you guys feel better soon! The ice definitely helps and when you can just walk around a little. I've literally been walking around in a circle in my hotel room lol! But I guess it kind of helps :)

@@jacks89 do you use the powder or premade isopure? I'm interested in another protein product because I'm slowly getting tired of the whey/milky protein taste from my current whey isolate.

I bought the glass bottles of isopure at GNC and so far the orange one is the one I've tasted and it's delicious! Kind of leaves you with a small dry mouth but one small medicine cup of water and it goes down lovely. ;) I've heard that the coconut one is pretty good too!

I been using the green isopure water apple and melon tasted good over ice the whole bottle 30 gr protein I am splitting over the day x

  • 3 weeks later...

I had pain in my left side for three solid weeks before it abated. I was told it was normal. I found the more walking I did the better I felt. Good luck and congratulations!
