I had my surgery August 26th

I'm now on stage 3 and it's been really hard for me . You can only have 3 bites five times a day& for some reason I eat fast & that doesn't go well. It makes me real sick????

I have a little app on my iPhone called Alarmed. You can set a timer for one minute and after a minute it will buzz and you can reset it for another minute, etc. You can use that to stretch out your bites. Of course if you chew really really really long you'll only have to wait another 30 seconds. I have the same trouble myself and it's really hard to slow down. Good luck.

I know we are told to put everything down and concentrate on eating, but it helps me if I'm doing something else while I eat. I'm still paying attention to what, how much, how often I'm eating it just gives me something to do in between bites. Just make sure you are still listening to your body and not fully immersed in the other activity
