  4. I would start with benefiber, then Miralax, then the softener. Don't use a laxative. Make sure you get your fluids and walk. Also I like to suck on some sugar free hard candy to help with head hunger and there is actually a warning on the package that says that having a few can cause a laxative effect. Obviously you aren't going to be pooping as often as before because your intake is a lot less. So if you used to be an everyday kind of gal it's ok if you're a every 3 days kind of girl. Your body is different. If you know this is constipation and it's painful and bothersome you should speak to your doctor
  5. I know we are told to put everything down and concentrate on eating, but it helps me if I'm doing something else while I eat. I'm still paying attention to what, how much, how often I'm eating it just gives me something to do in between bites. Just make sure you are still listening to your body and not fully immersed in the other activity
  6. Follow the plan you were given. It may be best to stay off the scale for awhile. Everyone is different. It will come off.
  7. I was home the same day and went back to my normal life 3 days later

  9. My surgery was at 7:30am I remember being woken up around 9:30, but was groggy. At 10:15 I was up and walking. I walked again at 10:45 then was discharged by 11:15 and was home before noon.
