Diet & Exercise Regimen

Can you all please tell me what you eat during an average day? I had my surgery on August 25th and I'm down 37lbs and I've been at a stall for over a week. People are telling me that I'm not eating enough but I just don't have an appetite. I need some sample menus. I walk four times a week at three miles and I'm so aggravated. HELP!!!!!

You really should call your nutritionist and review your daily food intake. They should be able to provide you with some sample menus. Hopefully you are at least meeting the minimum Protein and Fluid requirement. Your calorie count may be low, but that protein is important and can impact your weight loss. You may also want to consider upping your exercise routine a bit. It may jumpstart your metabolism and your appetite.

This is your 3rd week. You are in the 3 week stall. Just wait.

I know I should be patient but it's very hard. I'm getting in 60 of protein and I drink water all day. I just thought I would lose much faster then this though.

Thanks everyone is telling me I'm doing great but I sure don't feel like I am.

You've lost more than me and I was done on th 18th. To be honest I've lost more weight dieting alone. Anyhow my day today consisted of a optifast meal replacement bar as I can't tolerate shakes. Half an egg and a slice of ham for lunch and dinner was a about 4 table spoons if chicken curry a healthy one. Prob 500 call all up. Before I discovered those bars I was on about 350 cals

I've lost more dieting too, but with this surgery your chances of gaining the weight back is usually slim. Most people just start eating whatever that's how they gain weight back after the surgery. We need something to jump start our metabolism.
