I'm hoping someone can shed a little light for me here. My surgeon that performed my sleeve was not the surgeon that discharged me, but rather a partner surgeon within the same facility. He stressed that I need to be getting 64 Oz of water in each day. I'm getting frustrated because I'm only able to get about 20 Oz in on a good day. Since I'm supposed to wait 30 minutes after drinking to eat, and 60 minutes after eating to drink, but I'm only supposed to sip water....how do I fit this all in a day? I will have my 2 week post op in 2 weeks, but that's a week behind because the surgeon is so booked. I just really really don't want to get dehydrated. I've had that problem while I was pregnant and couldn't even keep water down.
