2 days to go.

2 more days until surgery early Monday morning. I am super nervous now. Hoping for a busy weekend to keep my mind occupied.

  • Congrats! I just had surgery 2 weeks ago tomorrow. I'm doing great! The hospital stay was no big deal. I have had no nausea and sipped the broth, ate the jello and sipped the water slowly. I was fine.

  • Prepping all day. Clean house, wash laundry, last minute shopping and getting my hospital bag ready. Yay, this time tomorrow I will be out of surgery!!! It's getting too real. ????

  • Congrats to all. Hearing everyone's stories really does help to know I'm not alone. Positive stories about recent surgeries are good to hear too! Thanks all for sharing.

Doing well here. Just took second walk. No catheter and I'm having sips of water. Pain took awhile to get under control but better now. Casper? How are you doing?

Way to go Jenn! You just gave me hope. The magnesium citrate is killing me. I can't be more than a minute from the bathroom. Uggg

Hey jennolson. I'm so happy for you.

You're doing great.

When I first came out I was in pain but mess kicked in. Then I had a little gas pain. Now I'm good. No more pain meds.

Jewels the nurse called it the gift that keeps on given. Lol. You be running until the morning. Sorry.

Well today's the big day. Getting up and heading to the hospital. Really scared but hopefully everything will go great and I'll be home in no time.

Good luck going home. I had bad afternoon. Lots of gas pain and nausea. Anything I try makes me urpy. Hopefully home tomorrow

Just left the hospital. Right side is still hurting but otherwise good. The morphine made me extremely nauseous.

Good luck jennolsen !!

Thank you all who have contributed to this post. You all inspire me!

Jennolsen how are you feeling today? Mad gas is leaving me every way possible. Lol. It helps to walk. Also maybe ask your nurse for a compression belt. They have me one and it helps a lot.

Let me know how things are going

Susan66 when is your date?

So day 2 in the hospital. They found a tiny leak and now no food again today. Pain is hard to manage I'm either in pain or to tired to keep my eyes open. I'm hoping the leak isn't a problem at all and I'll be alright in a few days.
