I know you posted this in a bypass forum and I've had the sleeve, but before surgery my doctor explained that VSG patients can have this happen sometimes too. So when it's happened to me, it really has been almost immediate. Sudden feeling of unwell, needing to go lie down, fast pulse.. Yuck

I thought I heard that it could be anywhere from immediately or all the way up to 8 hours. I know that isn't much help but that is what I read somewhere.

It's typically immediate, but I've ready some research that states it could be up to 8 hours. I have dumped three times and it's always been immediate!

I have been told there 2 types early dumping begins during or right after a meal symptoms nausea vomiting boating cramping diarrhoea dizziness and fatigue.

2nd is late dumping happens 2 to 4 hours after symptoms weakness sweating dizziness this can be avoided by avoiding chocolate biscuits cakes sweets desserts high sugar drinks
