I am excited. I started my pre-op prep diet. Week 1 is 2 Protein shakes and 1 meal per day and week 2 is all Protein Shakes. I am not using the brand they suggested because I already had some at home. The brand they suggested is 160 calories with 25g of protein and the ones I have are 300 calories and 40g of protein. I only have a week of these and will likely switch to the Premier Protein RTD (Ready To Drink) pre-made shakes at costco which are 160 calories and 30g of protein.
I'm sure I'll lose about 10 pounds before surgery in less than 2 weeks!!!
I think this may be tough. Any advice would be helpful. I think it's ok for me to have tea and Water between shakes, so that should keep me feeling full.
Believe it or not I hadn't weighed in until today. My official starting weight is 303 pounds. I took photos of myself facing forward and a profile photo and a picture of the reading on the scale.
