2 days for me as well. Super nervousness but so excited it's been a long time coming. Congrats

Girl listen, my husband is West Indian and he hasn't gone to a dr appt with. E since I was prego with my first kid and we have 3! If this is something you decided you want and need health wise no one can be a bigger cheerleader than yourself. This process to get approved is not easy and you have to get your feelings in check you have to be strong. Rely on the support groups they have in place at the dr offices. Once you have your surgery you will feel so much better not to mention healthier! Keep us posted....

My concerns are the same ones you have. I had a slamming headache up to 3 mins ago when I started eating my one meal for the day. I hope I can make it through!

It just got better it's my meal time. My one meal a day. I don't know how people are doing just liquid for 2 weeks.

My head is throbbing. Headache is so true. This is only my 2nd day and I don't know how I will make it through.

Just wanted to check in again. All us September sleepers are getting super close. It's been a long journey and in so excited to just have it done. I'm thankful for the conversations we all have on here as I don't have much support at home. Well let's stay excited! Be careful with the weight gains my dr advised me the insurance can postpone surgery for weight gain. Idk how much or little so be careful.

I too am 30 & a mom of 3 girls. I have finished all my requirements and I got a date of August 13th just to be told my insurance only allows certain drs that are part of a center of excellence. I have to wait again until July 31st for my appt with the new dr. Talk about impatient but it will all be worth it in the end.
