At my 1 week appointment I was released for easy walking. At 6 weeks I was released for cardio, but no weight training. Today at my 8 week I was released for all activity.

Im do 7 days today went to the doc. Said to take it easy for another week or so that the incisions open up around week 3 or 4 when u think your ok..

At 6 weeks I could do cardio but no tummy crunching till at least 3 months. Started with planking first.

I guess all docs are different. Mine said only walking for week 2-5. Then cardio and abs after week 6

That was in march of this year. Glad I had my TT ... But glad it is in the past!

Im now almost 2 weeks and i feel great i walked the mall today. Not to uncomfortable. Just sat down every now n then.

I saw my doctor yesterday. I'm 6 1/2 weeks out. I asked if I could start mild cardio but was denied. ????. I have 2 small areas on my incision that opened up. One was 2 weeks ago and is almost healed. The other opened a week ago.

The spot on my back is more like a seroma. I had been on my feet a lot one day. That night my low back swelled a lot. One area was about the size of an orange. The next day it was half the size. I knew it was Fluid.

It was still uncomfortable to try to sit/lay. So I took a warm shower and let the Water hit that spot. It opened up and all that yuck came out. Felt so much better. But now it's got to close back up. I'm doing wet to dry dressing on it. So I can't do anything cardio /exercise until it's healed. ????

I was really bummed but the dr said it's common in bariatric patients for this to happen even this far out. I just really miss working out. But I don't want to cause more problems. I get tired easily as it is. Hard to believe I was working out 2-3 hours a day prior to surgery.

So my lesson to learn is "patience". ????

Good luck!

Dang so sorry @@hollyr hope things improve soon!
