I just got my surgery date for September 14th!!! I'm so excited I can hardly wait!! Its a day after my sons 4th bday!! So I'm glad I get to spend his birthday with him but no cake for this momma!! Who else has that same date or is close to that date!! And stats! I'm 5'9" start weight 270 I am currently 241 now. This is before pre op diet.

I am Sept. 14th as well! Nervous and very excited. Pre-op liquid diet 7 days prior to surgery. My pre-op appt. is thursday! This is starting to get real! Good luck every one!

Mine is 9/11 and I have struggled with the pre op diet. I hope they can still do the surgery.

My surgery date is the 15/09. I am still extremely nervous and seem to be getting more so as the days close in.

I am on Day 3 of the Pre Op diet and am wondering if I am going to make it LOL... I am not hungry just craving.

I hope everything goes really well for you and would love to come check in on everyones progress as I am on my own.

I am pretty hungry, but enduring. This week is hard, I assume less hunger after surgery?

Surgery 9/14, Clear Liquids started 9/7. Down 17.5 lbs. feel okay, but tired. Started full fluids this week, gives more variety, eating yogurt, etc.

tried a Syntrax Protein powder today, "crystal Sky" was very good.

Get full fast. Was hungry last week, not so much this week. First post op doctor visit tomorrow.

Surgery 9/14, post op appt yesterday and 17 lbs lost. Started soft foods, tuna and boiled eggs, refried beans, etc. with no issues. Only problem is I'm very weak, showering is rough and I have to rest after. Supposed to go back to work on Monday and a bit worried that I won't have my strength back. Getting protein, taking vitamins, etc., doc said probably because of drop in BP. Off BP meds as of Monday.
