Praying!!! I know how difficult it has been for me but I feel proud that when I have "cheated" it has only been with a salad. After the first 2-3 days it does get easier.

Wooosahhhh :P

John...when is / was your surgery?

I made it through, mine is tomorrow morning. I struggled with the diet until the one week mark and then it just got easy, I don't know why. It gives me great hope for what's to come:) I doubt I'll sleep tonight, nerves......

I understand how you're feeling, John. I just started full liquids on Friday and I'm not sure if I have it right. Does your pre-op diet come with any other info, like how many calories you're supposed to be ingesting or low carb Protein drinks or low-sodium? I'm sure you can do this! Just remember that you're doing it for you. To live a better, healthier life. You CAN do it!

Hang in there and good luck!
