Marylanders!

Where are my Maryland people at? I'm near Hagerstown. Is anyone else local and going through pre-op?

Me! I'm post op, but I think he was fantastic.

Hi all. I'm post op as of Thursday morning, woo-hoo. NO ONE SAID IT WOULD BE THIS PAINFUL! I know pain varies per person, but geez, my first 48 hrs were awful! I'm much better now, mostly thanks to my Dr and nurses at MedStar Washington. They were soooo patient and gave such great tips.

How exciting (not the pain part ????). Glad you are better and I am hoping my next 3-4 months go by fast.

Congrats on being post op! How are you holding up? I'm hoping to be approved at the end of this month.

I'm holding up well. It's a lot easier than I imagined. My energy is still down, I did the muddy mom as this weekend and it took me a day to recover!

Just this morning, I can officially say I weigh less than my drivers license!!!! 37 lbs down

That's amazing! Congratulations!! I have one more appointment for my 6th month diet this month and then everything gets sent off for approval. I'm pretty nervous and scared I won't be approved but here's hoping!

Good luck!
