Just make sure they are "new tummy friendly". I wouldn't get too many of them though. After surgery, the kind you have may not agree with you and you may have to try another kind.

I got everything beforehand so I could be prepared for as soon as I got home from the hospital. I started taking my vitamins the day after I got home!

I have been taking Vitamins for about a year but changed them about a month before to the liquid one just to make sure I could take it without it being too sweet. Not had a problem with it post op and love the taste. I will change to tablets in a month or so if I can as they are much cheaper.

I certainly don't think you need to take them pre op if you don't want to. Can you get them on insurance or from your GP?

Your surgeon or nutritionist should tell you what to take. If they haven't then ask them what to get.
