I'm glad to hear I'm not the only imperfect one. I know a lot of people lose lots of weight during their pre op period but not ME! I was thinking...man am I the only one? If I was able to lose weight

mine went up too hopefully they'll realize we having this surgery because we can't lose weight on our own

Yess this is why I am doing it I been stressing it because I dont know I havent weighted my self because I get stressed out!!! Im not eating junk or unhealthy but that is my main issue and since I am diabetic is even harder to keep my weight down.

Yeah, this is kinda a problem I'm having now. Next week is my 6th month visit, I did everything else. I lost 7 lbs and put it right back on plus 4. Awesome. Now I don't know if I will get approved if I dont shed the extra lbs. if I could lose it on my own (and keep it off) I wouldn't be getting the surgery!!

Every surgeon has their own requirements. Mine has a strict no gain policy during the supervised diet. They overlook 1-2lb differences, especially in the winter, due to clothing but I would think 5 or more pounds would be an issue.

Even the same insurance company has different plans and contracts within in. My mom has BCBS and I have BCBS. Her plan will not cover anything weight loss related and mine covers the entire process.

Hey I have amerigroup as well and I've ended up gaining 17lbs in the last 2 months . The doctor was pretty upset and is having me do some labwork but im still scheduled for the 28th. No changes were made

I'm so glad my surgeon doesn't cancel surgery dates due to a weight gain in the pre-op stage.

The reason most of us are having or had WLS is because we struggle to lose in the first place.

My doctor allows "NO" gain. In the 6 month period
