Protein shakes after surgery

I had my surgery on July 22. Whenever I try to drink clear Protein shakes I get sick and throw up.

Is this normal? Water now is my only friend.

I was sleeved on July 20. I couldn't get the clear protein drinks down either. I didn't throw up, but I could only take a couple sips. I was glad when full liquids came along. Premier Protein shakes are great! Hang in there!

I was sleeved on July 21 and water not protein drink has been friendly. Recently added SF kool-aid to the water with hopes that it'll go down. I spent the morning doing a drool like vommit because I didn't want to experience a full vommit.

I was Sleeved Tuesday and am doing well. Living mostly on Isopure Protein Liquid, Water, broth and small amount of SF Jello.

Gas and bloating are going down a small amount each day, Gas X doesn't seam to do much. How many strips at a time do you take?

Maybe I need to walk more.

What is your best tasting favorite brand of Broth?

Thanks,

Craig
