  • I am having 3 weeks off and longer if I need it. I have a stressful job and won't go back until I know I can handle the level of work I am used to... so thinking about it, maybe 2019 lol. Keep smi

  • One i learned from my career and I am a social worker. Work do not care about you. If you die at work they will roll you over and fill your position with another person, whom they can find very easily

I took 11 days. I could have gone back at 7 but was glad I had the time off. My job is more sedentary so I knew going into it that I would be fine. Also I had healed very well from prior surgeries.

@@leuqar76 I am a social worker too and I agree with you, you get no thanks for killing yourself to get back to work.

I'm out for at least three weeks, maybe a little longer. I work in an OR so between lifting 20+ pound instrument trays and moving patients I have to be out longer than some. Even though at 11 days post op I feel great and am ready to work again.

Hi auntie Linda we have the same date . Feeling pretty good myself

I am an OB nurse and my surgeon insisted on 6 weeks off due to the physical requirements of my job.

My doctor said that you shouldn't push yourself back to get back to work. It's not the tiredness part, it's that you really need to focus on your body & eating & getting to know what you can tolerate & focus on your new start on health.
