Nausea on pre-op diet, PLEASE HELP!

Im on the 13th day of my pre-op diet and I have been having waves of nausea on and off through the day. I will feel ok then all of a sudden feel like i need to throw up. Ive been drinking different types of Protein drinks to see if it was one specific type doing this to me, but I am on a 2 Protein shake one serving of protein a day diet with one salad and sugarfree popsicles and Jello. I drank a carnation Protein Drink mix this morning with carbmaster milk which ive done many times before and i have no problem with this shake i drink it occasionally on regular days even. But for some reasons when i ate my fish for lunch then stood up i instantly felt like it was coming back up and the wave of nausea came. Has anyone else had this problem? Getting sleeved in two days but im still scared to eat and drink shakes or food because i keep getting nauseous, watery mouth, dry heaving, etc. Was concerned if I should tell my dr about it when I arrive.

you might be in ketosis if you're low sugar/carb - its normal to have waves of nausea in ketosis. make sure you stay hydrated.

hope this helps :)

Uh huh but if your pre op that may not be it it may be the protein powder or the sugar free mix I have major issues with a lot of sugar free stuff sugar alcohols don't like me and let me know in no uncertain terms I have learned to listen... The hard way I'll leave at that...
