I'm scheduled for surgery August 25th. I was origanally scheduled for July 27th but my insurance was all messed up.

It feels like I have been waiting forever, I know but hasn't been that long but I waited then it was approved so fast....only 4 days!! Just ready!!

I was hoping to be scheduled at the end of July but some receptionist thought it was smart to wait until I called to follow up on the insurance process to tell me that my EKG wasn't faxed from one of my doctors... - _-

Therefore it looks like I should be sleeved the first week of August!!

I am told I can pick my date, and I want it done in August. Has anyone heard of either Dr. Lopez Corvala or Dr. jaime Ponce de leon in Tijuana MX?

Hi ladies it looks like we are have our surgeries on the same day. Good luck to you guys and keep me posted on how things are going for you all.

I met with my nutritionist today. I only needed one appoinment as I am self-pay. All I have left now is the endoscopy, a week from today.

I am hoping for an August surgery. Office will not schedule surgery until everything is complete, in this case the endoscopy. I am a self-pay because my Aetna plan does not include bariatric benefits, so the numerous appointments have nothing to do with insurance and everything to do with my very highly regarded and cautious doctor, to make sure everything is safe and normal before proceeding.

I've been 'dieting' since the age of 12 so this can't happen soon enough!
