I am in Chesapeake....my surgery date was 8/6 and I am down 86 pounds so far! Had my surgery at Norfolk General with Dr. Wohlgemuth!

I am almost 12 weeks out from surgery and suffer with constipation issues....I have been taking copacetic once a day but I am adding Miralax this week and hoping for the best! I always get plenty of fluids and have started adding veggies back in! Good luck!

I am 5 weeks post op and I still forget to eat! If I realize that I haven't eaten I just grab a Protein shake! I never get that hungry feeling but if I wait to long between or I am not drinking enough I get an empty feeling! It is so weird!

I had my nails painted and had no issues! There was a time that the pulse of machine could not read through the polish but those days are gone! But they can monitor your oxygen by checking your nail beds and that can't be done with polished nails! My nail polish is like some girls lipstick.....I just need it!!!

I didn't have a waiting period with my insurance but when everything was said and done it was almost 5 months between first appointment and my surgery! Good Luck!

I miss my straw too, only 2 weeks out! I was hoping it would get better!!

I had gallbladder and a hernia surgery with mesh and I had my surgery 11 days ago! Everything went well!
