So, I've started seeing hair loss - it's coming out when I run my hands through it. I'm 30 and a guy - and I know there's loads of hair loss threads, but my question specifically is whether the hair loss is temporary, and whether, when it stops, the hair grows back or is gone for good?

I can handle a few months of thinning hair if I know that it will grow back. But I'm much more worried if the hair that goes is gone forever.

It grows back. Mine fell out in months 3-5 and I'm at month 9 now. All my baby hairs are about an inch and a half long.

Mine stopped around 7 months post op, and it started growing back in slowly. I had a lot of little "sprouties" around a year post op. It's still not as thick as it was before, and the texture is different, but hey....I have hair! :-)
