June 15, 201511 yr It depends on what else you have to complete on your pre surgical packet. I just started my process about 2 weeks ago and I just scheduled my endoscopy coming up for the next 2 weeks. You can get the endoscopy pretty early on and still have things to complete before they submit it to the insurance company

June 16, 201511 yr My scope was and my approval dates were 4 days apart! Surgery is 3 weeks later on July 6th. Best wishes!!
June 25, 201511 yr Got my EGD yesterday 6/23 and checked with office staff to be sure all other records are in. Now the office nurse has to review the chart before insurance approval request is submitted. But the only thing was I got my CPAP yesterday and my doctor likes to wait 30 days after starting up before surgery. Well thats oksy at least i can get a date and have 20 plus days to prepare around the house and at work. Hoping for an August 10th surgery date.

June 26, 201511 yr Got my date its July 14th not to far away @@desireat, that's great! I talked to my patient advocate yesterday who told me someone would be calling me yesterday to schedule my scope and surgery. No one called. Ack! I'm glad to see you finally got your date. I'm frantically reading everything on here in hopes of being ready. Best of luck!
