I'm 9 weeks out and wouldn't change my decision for anything

the wait seems forever and then after u get it . The time passes by so quick . You all will do amazing

I was on liquids for 3 weeks too but I had chest pain and horrible pain . A lot of surgeons are different

Never get my thirst under control . If I don't have Water I feel like I might die Dry mouth happens a lot I will eat food cold and don't even care (before that would have never happened) BM are very hard for me unless I'm having dumping syndrome I can only eat raspberries and watermelon no other fruit it makes me dump Pounds come off really easy the first month There is nothing you can eat at fast food My first 2 weeks post op I had chest pain after eating any broth (no one warned me about that ..) I am obsessed with my scale and am caught constantly by my mother and daughter checking my weight lol Yogurt is my favorite and the chobani flips are amazing . It's turned into my indulgence before it was kit Kats now it's yogurt lol People do think it's the easy way out to lose weight but people don't understand what strength it takes not to order a coke and a cheeseburger . Shopping has became an issue , always buying clothes cause now I can wear Victoria secret clothes ???? Don't enjoy going out to eat anymore two bites and I'm done and everyone else is just getting started

Lucky my surgeon had me on the liquids for two weeks . I am ready for the Mushy stage

I think as long as ur not eating more than 1/4 or 1/2 cup u should be fine . I was sleeved on the 14th and haven't ventured out from broth but that's cause my stomach is really sensitive

That's good to know that it's normal. I am so afraid that with my diarrhea if I try to pass gas it's gonna be the other so I'm in the bathroom a lot

So is anyone else have a gurgling stomach and diarrhea ?

I kicked caffeine 4 months ago it wasn't bad after a week without it

You should be fine a bite of pizza is not gonna hurt you . We all make mistakes

Mine is not strict on it but I love my isopure strawberries and cream. It takes awhile to find on you like. I know I mix mine with organic skim milk and bananas. Does anyone know if you can have milk after surgery or if you have to wait

I'm having mine as well on the 14th. Very nervous but excited at the same time

I am having my scope(EGD) done today . How long is the norm from that til you get a surgery date?

Scope is easy . It takes like 15 minutes

Called my surgery coordinator today they have scheduled my pre op July 2nd and my surgery July 14th can't wait

I will find out on the 2nd . I'm so ready to get this diet started and get used to making good food choices

I did get my date its July 14th. It's crazy how quick everything went

Called my insurance Tuesday and they said nothing had been submitted and when it does it will take 10 days for a decision. Then I called today and was told they received it Tuesday and would have a decision in 2 business days . Hope that's true I am ready. Can't wait to start this journey crossing my fingers for them to approve it.
