Eye twitching while on Pre-Op - anyone else?

Recommended Posts

I did search on this forum and on google. I don't think my new onset right eye twitching is from stress, so it could be lack of magnesium. I hate to add one more pill to my growing medicine list. Did anyone else else experience this?

@@Kushka - I have experienced eye-twitching, but only (as @@Inner Surfer Girl) when I'm terribly stressed out and very tired. Oh - and there's usually a computer monitor involved.

I would be interested to know if you find out what is causing it. Hope your twitch resolves! ;-)

I will keep you posted! It was much better this weekend. Maybe my eye twitching is stress-related as I have a lot to do at the office before I take my two weeks off for surgery. However, I did buy a magnesium/zinc/calcium Vitamin to supplement as well.

It's stress.

Go for a walk then Get a massage

An sleep for like a weekend just go to the restroom & eat and go back to sleep. Most of all pray and leave it all in Gods hands he knew you b4 you were born He has your life written before you and He will carry you through just relax breath in for 10 sec and out for 10 sec and sleep. I was twitching a lot both eyes I had a panic/ anxiety attack really bad on the other side of town. I thought I was fine but my heart kept hurting and my eyes twitching. It was stress severe stress. I'm better after a massage/ lots of QT time w hubby/sleep sleep sleep I feel better but I am going to make it a priority to get away once a month and sleep and massage and hubby.

Thanks for the replies. One week to go before surgery. I leave for Mexico on Sunday. Feeling worried about this and that (work, not meeting surgery weight loss goal - four pounds to go, going under the knife, etc.), so that is great advice to pray, sleep, and get a massage. I am getting a facial on Wed. :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
