This a question i will ask at my pre op diet class. But has anyone heard anything? also, if they use the same size pouch, aren't I going to be a string bean in a year? Want to be fit, but not look like I have some deathly disease if you know what i mean.

Anyone use Evanson in indy? I am private pay and near South Bend. St. Vincent in Carmel is $26,000. $20,000 of that is for the hospital and $6,000 for surgeon. Any other fantastic docs around for less$ Isn't there one in Merrillville? Anyone getting a sleeve anywhere soon? Im shooting for November. Need a buddy

Just found out my Anthem doesn't cover bariatric . I'm looking to see what other Hoosiers did. Did anyone self pay at St Vincent? If so, what was cost. We are north, so even Chicago, South Bend, ft Wayne are options. Thank you!!

Just trying to think if I want to do something like this.

I'm a newbie to this and trying to figure out which powders I find tasty. I just got some unjury and Syntrax samples. I get my psych evaluation this week so I'm about a month out or so. I currently dump a scoop in with some almond milk , ice, fruit, spinach etc. throw it all in a huge glass and off to work I go. I obviously won't be able to consume large Protein shakes after surgery, so my question is 2 part : 1)how do you sample to find which ones you like? Do you taste powder only, do you mix with Water, do you add all the fruits which I find hard to "taste" the powder then? 2) after surgery do you mainly make the fruit smoothies and add powder for Breakfast or do you add powder to water after workout? Guess I want to know a normal day of how Protein Powder is consumed. I have not had any nutrition appts yet. I do have a vitamix which we love. Thanks

Would you have procedure done at 10 weeks before an all inclusive vacation to Mexico.............or put it off 3-4 months so you can have your last hoorah in Cancun. I want to get this done, but don't want to be miserable on vacation.

Ok. Sounds like I should do it! Now assuming it takes longer, what's the least time u would do it pre Cancun? 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6?weeks? I have psych consult next week, so not sure how long it will take after that
