Can you tell if you have one?

When I found out I had a leak, I had a fever of 103°, My heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest, I was having trouble breathing, and I felt like I could pass out at any moment.

You will be extremely weak and have a high fever

Flu-like symptoms. It's also common for your left shoulder to hurt really bad if you have a leak. If it doesn't hurt it doesn't mean you aren't leaking. But If it does hurt, you definitely have a leak. The first year I dealt with my leak my shoulder didn't hurt. The second year, it hurt. So that symptom can go both ways.

Bottom line: if you're leaking, you'll know about it eventually. It won't take long to manifest into something that needs urgent medical treatment.
