  2. Hey....I am in Talala OK if you want to chat. Have you been sleeved yet?
  3. When I found out I had a leak, I had a fever of 103°, My heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest, I was having trouble breathing, and I felt like I could pass out at any moment.
  4. It is very scary though...I worry about every little ache.
  5. I was sleeved on Jan 21st and had developed a leak by the 29th. The past four months felt like I lived in hell. I was on TPN for 18 hours a day, had 2 drains hanging out of my stomach one of which started to grow into my pouch, no food or beverages, weekly visits to my surgeon for ct scans or upper G I, and had a stent in for 4 weeks (had to be put under every week because it kept moving). I was so frustrated as I had no idea of this complication before I was sleeved. I would cry at the drop of a pin for no reason most of the time. Well 2 weeks ago my upper G I showed I was healed (Thank you God) and was able to start liquids and protein shakes. This last Thursday my surgeon took me off the TPN and told me to start my meal plan as if I was 2 weeks out from surgery. I have been taking it slowly as I am so scared of getting another leak. I am so happy to start living again!!
