Condensed Protein Shake

I'm on day 3 post-op... OK, so I'm having trouble consuming all the liquid (my program pushes for 80 ounces), in addition to a Protein shake a day. For right now I have to be able to mix a Protein Shake with Water. So it's super hard to take in ALL this liquid... I also can't stand the milk based shakes (chocolate, vanilla, ect), and I can't drink cold Fluid. So I've been using the nectar fruit flavors (fuzzy navel, strawberry kiwi, ect).

Is is a bad idea to combine the nectar protein mix into like to shot glasses with water? So it's just enough water to get the required protein down?

I did mix it just to see, and wasn't too thick and filled two shoot glasses perfect.

Is this a bad idea?

Can't you count the water/fluid in your protein shakes. My first two weeks post op when I was on liquids I counted all my liquids toward my water total.

My surgeon's office sells it and I have also ordered it from Bariatric Choice.com. I've tried the grape, wild berry, peach/mango, and green tea/cranberry and liked all of them. Here is a link: http:

Thanks for that info, I ordered them today. I'm having such a hard time getting in the 60 grams of Protein... I'm sick of the shakes (I had to drink them for 6 weeks prior to surgery). And everything else I've tried has a horrible aftertaste. So I'm really crossing my fingers on the stuff you recommend. I got both the Soups and the grape & punch drinks.
