Who else is having surgery tomorrow?! What is everyone bringing to the hospital?! I feel like my nutritionist was horrible and gave me no information about after surgery other then that I would be on a two week liquid after- do I have to bring protein shakes to hospital?! Someone please help!

Congratulations! I am not having surgery tomorrow but figured I'd say good luck anyway. You don't need to bring Protein shakes to the hospital and they will give you all the info you need for your post op diet while you are there.

Keep us posted:)

Good luck! It's a good idea to bring a robe, non-slip slippers for walking in the hospital, and some sort of chapstick. My lips were terribly dry and I was so glad that I packed that.

Good luck!!! I don't have a surgery date yet, but I'm for sure bringing my laptop and nook with me when I do have it. Oh and comfy pj's.

Thanks everyone!!! I will definitely update!! I packed comfy clothes, my robe, Chapstick and my ipad!!

I am! Chapstick is a must. I've also seen suggestions for a pillow so that you can comfortably brace yourself on the ride home. Best of luck! We got this!!

5/6/15 and NERVOUS and I have cold. Keeping my fingers crossed.

. How are you feeling?! Yesterday was pretty rough after surgery until about midnight last night, today feeling better!

I didn't use anything I packed but my cell phone. Chapstick and tooth brush and toothpaste. My second day my breath was so bad from dry mouth and it really was nice brushing my teeth
